Présentation : Créé en 1970 par l'Automobile Club de Chypre, il fait partie du championnat du monde de rallyes depuis 1996. Après une absence de trois ans, il a été inscrit au calendrier WRC en 2009 (3eme manche).
Il se déroule sur trois journées totalisant environ 1200 km dont 335 km en 14 spéciales (6 sur asphalte et 8 sur terre).
